Jury to consider verdict in Tipperary manslaughter trial

The jury in the trial of a Tipperary man accused of manslaughter is set to retire to consider a verdict today.

21 year old Dan Delaney of Carrowclough, Tipperary Town denies the unlawful killing of Edward O'Donnell in a row on the street in Bansha three years ago.

The altercation took place outside a pub in the West Tipp village on May 6th, 2009 – Edward O'Donnell died in hospital three days later.

Judge Donagh McDonagh is likely to complete his charge to the jury this morning.
