A Fine Gael backbencher has again said the issue of the leadership of the party needs to be dealt with in advance of a general election.
Cork South West TD Jim Daly has repeatedly said the issue needed to be addressed 'after the budget'.

The issue has resurrected after weekend reports the Social Protection Minister Leo Varadkar now had the support of around 30 members of the parliamentary party.
Deputy Daly says he won't put a timeframe on when a new leader should be put in place, but says Fine Gael needs to be ready for an election.
