Healthcare experts in the US are criticising a top official for saying a 'protocal breach' caused a Dallas nurse to be infected with ebola, while caring for a dying patient.
Dr Thomas Frieden made the declaration on Saturday, and called for an investigation into how the unidentified nurse became infected while looking after Thomas Eric Duncan – the first ebola patient diagnosed in the US.
Healthcare professionals claim the case shows how far the nation's hospitals are from adequately training staff to deal with the deadly virus.
Meanwhile international charity GOAL claims top level officials here have decided it's too dangerous to send our defence forces into the region which is seen as 'ground zero' for the outbreak.
