It took delivery of 270 units of O Negative, A Negative and B Negative blood on Friday morning.

An alert was issued by the IBTS recently seeking an additional 2,000 blood donations over the next 4 weeks to support the national blood supply as most blood groups have fallen to under 3 days of stock.

Clinics are being held at the Dome in Semple Stadium on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week from 4.50pm to 8.10pm each day.

New donors are particularly welcome and appointments can be made on 1800 222 111.
