Coolmore Stud is to be the centre of attention for the Chinese equine industry.

Agriculture minister Simon Coveney has announced that China is to establish a multi-billion Euro national equine centre with assistance from Ireland.

The development of this facility in China is expected to generate almost €40m in exports for Ireland within three years.

According to South Tipp T.D Tom Hayes China’s top agriculture graduates will spend two months on site at Coolmore Stud learning from the best in the industry.
