The Health and Safety Authority and Gardai are investigating a fatal industrial accident in Co. Kilkenny.
It happened at a quarry near Freshford at half past twelve yesterday afternoon.

A 48 year old man was pronounced dead at the scene, which was preserved for a forensic examination.
His body was removed to St Luke's Hospital.
