The incident happened at around 5.30 yesterday evening at Whitelands, New Inn.
Emergency services including two units of the fire brigade in Cahir along with local gardaí and ambulance personnel attended the scene.

Several people were taken to hospital as a precaution but were later discharged.
The road reopened shortly before 7.30.
