The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation says the longest waiting list for a bed today is at University Hospital Galway where 35 patients are waiting in wards and on trolleys.
University Hospital Limerick – which serves North Tipp – has 32 patients on trolleys or chairs while South Tipp General reports 19 people in a similar situation.
