The matter has been highlighted by Clonmel Fianna Fail Councillor Siobhain Ambrose, who is calling for traffic calming measures for the junction at Ormonde Stores.
She is also calling for a safety rail to be installed on the footpath on the way in to Kilsheelan, to prevent cars from mounting the footpath.
Officials in the road section of South Tipp County Council are looking in to the matter.
