Impartiality of banking inquiry questioned.

The Dáil’s been told that it might be impossible for TDs to hold a proper banking inquiry.

The warning's come from independent TD Shane Ross, who says it's not possible for TDs to remain impartial.

The Dáil last night officially signed off on the terms of reference for the inquiry, which will meet in private today.

Deputy Ross says it just isn't possible for any TD to remain impartial when the banking crisis is being discussed.
