Iarnrod Eireann urged to change Tipp-Cork train timetable

Iarnrod Eireann’s being urged to change the train timetables to allow Tipperary people to commute to Cork.

At the moment there are hundreds of people who use the early trains to Dublin to commute to work or college in the capital.

However there are no trains travelling to Cork that arrive before half-nine in the morning.

Barry Kenny from Iarnrod Eireann has made a presentation to Tipperary County Council this week; and Cllr Seamus Hanafin there’s a massive gap in the service.
