HSE urges public support for hospital smoking ban

The smoking ban at South Tipperary General Hospital has now been extended to the entire campus.

From this morning the HSE has implemented a Tobacco Free status across the Clonmel health facility.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the Western Road grounds in Clonmel including St Lukes Campus – which takes in Community Care Services and Mental Health Services.

Consultant Physician at South Tipp General Dr. Mary Jane Brassill says hospital staff and the general public will hopefully play a part in enforcing the smoking ban.
