Housing units approved for South Tipperary

Six new social and voluntary housing units are to be built in South Tipperary.

Local Fine Gael T.D. Tom Hayes has confirmed that the Minister for Housing and Planning has given the green light for proposals from South Tipperary County Council.

At a cost of €795,000, the units will come on stream between now and 2014.

4 of the 6 new units will be located in the Cashel area, with the other 2 locations still to be decided.

3 units will be allocated to St. Patrick’s Dwellings for the Elderly.
