Tipp house prices up 46% from Covid19 levels

House prices in Tipperary in the first three months of 2025 were 7% higher than a year previously.

This is compared to a rise of 15% seen in the 12 months to March 2024.

According to the latest report from Daft.ie the average price of a home in the Premier County is now €262,000 – 46% above the level seen at the start of the Covid19 pandemic.

Nationally house price inflation has reached an eight-year high with a 3 point 7 per cent increase during the first three months of the year.

Author of the report, economist Ronan Lyons says prices are up not just in the main cities but right across the country.
