Current government policy will do little to tackle the housing crisis in Tipperary.
That’s the view of local TD Seamus Healy ahead of a public meeting on the issue planned for next week.
3,500 families are on the local authority housing list in the Premier County with 120,000 across the country.
However speaking on Tipp Today Deputy Healy said these figures aren’t a true reflection of the problem as there are thousands more who don’t appear on lists.
