Homelessness and the housing crisis are to be raised in the Dáil tomorrow by Clonmel TD Seamus Healy.

The Workers and Unemployed Action Group founder is calling on the government to declare a housing emergency.

Deputy Healy says we need to commence an emergency county council house building programme of social and affordable homes.

He will also highlight the need to legislate for real security of tenure, real rent control and affordable rents.
