The way has been cleared for an extension to a housing development in Kilsheelan.
The County Council planning department has granted permission for 24 residential units in the village as part of the Ivowen estate.
The proposals from Coalquay Developments Ltd were for a 20 semi-detached houses and 4 apartments.
The dwellings were part of the original planning application for the site but were not built at the time.
