Housing Development plans for Thurles lodged with County Council

Plans for a major housing development in Thurles have been lodged with Tipperary County Council.

O’Ceallaigh Westfield Ltd are behind the proposals for the houses on the Brittas Road.

The County Laois registered company is seeking approval to construct a total of 60 dwelling units together with a creche facility with capacity for 47 children.

The application also seeks permission for the demolition of an existing detached bungalow and a new entrance to the site from Brittas Rd.

A decision is due from the planning authority by December 19th.
