Hospital Committee seek meeting with Minister over chronic overcrowding.

The committee met last evening to discuss the problem at the Clonmel health facility which has seen a steady rise in the amount of patients being treated on trolleys and chairs in recent weeks.

The HSE plan to open step-down beds at Our Lady's hospital in Cashel but no funding has yet been approved.
