High Court to clarify restrictions on Murphy comments

The newspaper is among a group trying to get clarity surrounding the reporting of comments made in the Dail about Denis O'Brien's banking arrangements with IBRC.

Deputy Catherine Murphy's remarks would usually be covered by parliamentary privilege, however there's uncertainty in this case because of an existing High Court order restricting reporting on the issue.

Kevin O'Sullivan thinks there's a good chance they'll get a 'reasonably fair hearing' in court today, and he believes it's an important case.
