Health Minister to address Dail over Carrick on Suir business venture

We're to hear from the Health Minister later on his involvement in the Co. Tipperary property deal, that led to his name being included in 'Stubbs Gazette'.

James Reilly will make a statement to the Dáil this evening on his appearance as a debt defaulter in relation to the Greenhills Nursing Home in Carrick on Suir.

He's expected to pledge to pay his share of a €1.9 million fee a group of investors has been court ordered to hand over.

The Taoiseach assured the Dáil last night that his deputy leader and Health Minister has promised him the money will be repaid.

Meanwhile, the Labour party has also expressed its full confidence in the Minister, though they've admitted they weren't given an explanation on the matter.
