The Minister for Health says he has handed over power of attorney to his solicitor in relation to his interest in a County Tipperary property.

The investors were ordered by a court to buy Greenhill’s Nursing Home in Carrick on Suir earlier this year.

A spokesman for the minister says the Minister handed over power of attorney once he took office, but the court judgment is not in dispute, and the parties involved are working out how to pay the money.

The says the deadline for payment expired a number of months ago.
