Health Minister addresses Dail on Carrick on Suir business deal

Opposition parties say the Health Minister still has questions to answer over his business troubles.

James Reilly addressed the Dáil at around 10 o'clock last night – and said he had acted with propriety at all times.

And he rejected any suggestion that his share of a property operating as a nursing home in Carrick on Suir  is a conflict of interest.

But Sinn Féin are maintaining that there is a conflict – while Fianna Fáil say it's a serious breach of trust for a Minister not to comply with a High Court order to pay off the debt.
