There will be no clinics held for four days over the Bank Holiday weekend but demand for blood remains high.

Hospitals rely on a steady flow of donations to provide essential treatment with 65% of donated blood used to support cancer patients while a further 5% helps in childbirth-related care.

A clinic is being held at Cappawhite Community Centre from 4.50pm to 8.10pm this evening.

Newport Community Centre will hold a clinic tomorrow Thursday evening from 4.50pm to 8.10pm.

New Donors welcome – appointments can be made on 1800 222 111.
