A number of blood donation clinics are being held across Tipperary this week.
The IBTS is encouraging people in the Premier County to attend in an effort to help safeguard hospital blood supplies this Easter.
There will be no clinics held for four days over the Bank Holiday weekend but demand for blood remains high.
Hospitals rely on a steady flow of donations to provide essential treatment with 65% of donated blood used to support cancer patients while a further 5% helps in childbirth-related care.
A clinic is being held at Cappawhite Community Centre from 4.50pm to 8.10pm this evening.
Newport Community Centre will hold a clinic tomorrow Thursday evening from 4.50pm to 8.10pm.
