358 people who have been admitted to hospitals across the country today are waiting for beds.

The INMO says 72 of these are on trolleys in University Hospital Limerick making the facility serving North Tipp, Limerick and Clare the busiest in the country.

That’s followed by Cork University Hospital with 41.

TUH in Clonmel has 8 patients on trolleys while there is no overcrowding at Nenagh Hospital today
