The CEO of the UL hospitals group which serves North Tipp patients says the new 60 bed modular unit will be up and running within 12 months.
Yesterday the Health Minister announced funding for the long awaited project at University Hospital Limerick to go ahead as part of measures to ease chronic overcrowding at the region’s main ED.
CEO of the UL hospitals group Colette Cowan says they will be hitting the ground running now.
