Yet again UHL accounts for a quarter of all patients without a bed at Irish hospitals today.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation is reporting 97 people who have been admitted to the hospital which serves North Tipp, Limerick and Clare are being cared for on trolleys.

Nationally the figure stands at 399 with University Hospital Galway the next most overcrowded at 38.
TUH in Clonmel has 12 patients on trolleys today.
