It’s a very busy start to the week for frontline staff at University Hospital Limerick.

This accounts for a quarter of all those left without a bed at facilities across the country which according to the INMO stands at 468.
University Hospital Galway and Sligo University Hospital are the next most overcrowded on 45 and 41 respectively.
5 people who have been admitted to TUH in Clonmel are being cared for on trolleys while the nursing union reports no overcrowding at Nenagh Hospital.
