The number of patients left without a bed after being admitted to Irish hospitals continues to increase.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are 100 people being cared for on trolleys at UHL today.

The hospital which covers North Tipp has almost twice as many patients without a bed as the next most overcrowded facility which is University Hospital Galway with 51.
UHL accounts for 20% of the national figure of 509.
The nursing union is reporting 12 patients on trolleys at TUH in Clonmel while there are no overcrowding issues at Nenagh General this afternoon.
