People who are visiting are being reminded to adhere with hand hygiene and use the gel dispensers at the entrance while masks are to be worn at all times in the Clonmel hospital.

Management is asking that children should not visit unless in exceptional circumstances and by prior approval of the ward or department manager.

Visiting hours are from 2 to 4pm and 6.30 to 8.30pm.

Meanwhile 98 patients are waiting for beds in hospitals covering Tipperary today.

There are 86 patients at Limerick University Hospital, 4 people at Nenagh General and 3 waiting at Tipperary University Hospital.

The I.N.M.O report shows that 641 patients are waiting in trolleys nation-wide.
