The number of patients without a bed at University Hospital Limerick has jumped significantly over the last 24 hours.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are 116 people being cared for on trolleys at the hospital which covers North Tipp, Limerick and Clare.

This is up from 91 yesterday.
Nationally the numbers left without a bed after being admitted to hospital is down from 552 to 537.
The nursing union is reporting no overcrowding at Nenagh Hospital while TUH in Clonmel has five patients without a bed.
