The number of patients without a bed at University Hospital Limerick has rocketed overnight.
The facility which serves North Tipp, Limerick and Clare has gone from 80 people on trolleys yesterday to 113 today – an increase of 40%

Tipperary University Hospital in Clonmel has 14 patients waiting for a bed while again today there are no overcrowding issues at Nenagh Hospital according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
The nursing union is reporting that 580 people who have been admitted to hospitals across the country do not have a bed today.
