The number of patients without a bed at University Hospital Limerick has dropped below 100 for the first time this week.
However the facility which covers North Tipp, Limerick and Clare is still by far the most overcrowded hospital in the country with 93 people being cared for on trolleys.

CUH in Cork is next in line with 63 while the national figure according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation stands at 489.
The nursing union reports no overcrowding issues at TUH in Clonmel or Nenagh Hospital today.
