Slight easing in overcrowding figures at UHL

The number of patients without a bed at University Hospital Limerick is at its lowest level for the week.

However there are still 65 people who have been admitted to the facility which serves North Tipp, Limerick and Clare being cared for on trolleys.

According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are 425 patients without a bed at hospitals across the country today – these include 4 at TUH in Clonmel.
