20% of patients without a hospital bed today are being cared for at University Hospital Limerick.

According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation 241 people who have been admitted to hospitals across the country are on trolleys around the Emergency Department or in already full wards.

50 of these are at UHL which covers North Tipperary, Limerick and Clare.

Neither Tipperary University Hospital in Clonmel or Nenagh General have any overcrowding issues today.
