More than 100 people who have been admitted to University Hospital Limerick have been left without a bed.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are 114 patients on trolleys around the hospital which serves North Tipp, Limerick and Clare.

This makes up 20% of the national figures which stands at 585.
The nursing union is reporting 65 on trolleys at CUH.
Staff at TUH in Clonmel are caring for 17 patients without a bed today.
