Reidy: Michael Lowry has never made UHL or Nenagh Hospital a red-line issue

A prominent hospital campaigner has questioned whether having Deputy Michael Lowry as part of a new government will be of any benefit to health services in the county.

The Thurles TDs Regional Group looks set to join Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael in forming a coalition.

Conor Reidy has worked with both the Nenagh Needs It’s A&E and the Mid West Hospital Campaign groups.

On Tipp Today earlier he said Michael Lowry had never made UHL and Nenagh Hospital red-line issues in the past and doesn’t expect him to do it now.
