There’s been a slight reduction in the number of patients being treated on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation 88 people who have been admitted to the hospital serving North Tipp are without a bed today.

This compares with 100 on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
University Hospital Galway is the next most overcrowded with 39.
The nursing union reports 19 patients on trolleys at TUH in Clonmel while nationally there are 417 people waiting for a bed.
