Rathcabbin boil water notice lifted

A boil notice in place for the last month on a North Tipperary water supply has been lifted.

The restrictions on the Rathcabbin public supply impacted 1,200 customers.

It was imposed on April 7th following elevated turbidity which affected the water treatment plant.

Following remedial works and following consistent satisfactory sampling results the HSE has given the all clear for the public to resume normal use of the Rathcabbin supply.
