There are no beds today for almost 100 people who have been admitted to University Hospital Limerick.
The Dooradoyle facility which serves North Tipp has 97 patients on trolleys – this compares with 65 at University Hospital Galway which is the next most overcrowded.

In all there are 411 patients without a bed at hospitals across the country according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
The numbers at TUH in Clonmel have fallen by 3 in the last 24 hours to 12.
