606 patients are on trolleys in hospitals around the country today.
University Hospital Limerick – which covers North Tipperary – accounts for the largest number of people waiting for a bed, at 108.

TUH in Clonmel has 31 patients on trolleys today according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
Meanwhile people with flu like symptoms are being urged to speak to their GP, out of hours services or pharmacist, and not to attend emergency departments unless it strictly necessary.
The number of people in hospital has rapidly grown since the weekend with close to 870 flu cases admitted.
