They account for over 20% of the total number on trolleys across Irish hospitals today and is more than double the next most overcrowded.
According to the INMO 509 patients are waiting for a bed with 47 at St Vincent’s in Dublin.
TUH in Clonmel has 14 patients on trolleys with 2 reported at Nenagh General.
