Nearly 2,000 patients left without a bed at UHL in February

Hospitals serving Tipperary accounted for 20% of patients waiting for hospital beds in February.

11,318 people were treated on trolleys nationally this month,

University Hospital Limerick which covers North Tipp accounted for 1,938 of them while Tipperary University Hospital in Clonmel had 244 and 53 were at Nenagh General.

I.N.M.O reports show a fourteen percent decrease in the number of people waiting in hospitals covering Tipp since February 2024.
