Tipperary people are being urged to step up as blood supplies have fallen to concerning levels.
According to the Irish Blood Transfusion Service there is just 2.2 days supply of O Negative blood while there is an average of 4.5 days supply across all blood types.
The IBTS says the shortfall means they need to collect an additional 2,000 donations nationwide over the coming weeks to prevent any impact on vital medical procedures.
Clinics are being held at Ballykisteen Hotel in Limerick Junction this evening and Thursday evening from 4.50pm to 8.10pm.
