HSE hires extra managers while South Tipp services suffer

The HSE is being criticised for increasing the number of managers while some key services in Tipperary have been suspended.

Figures show there was a 9% rise in the number of management posts between 2015 and 2016.

It comes as some psychology services in South Tipperary have had to be put on hold due to staffing issues.

Tipperary TD Mattie McGrath says the money would be much better spent trying to entice nursing staff back to Ireland.
