Hospital overcrowding continues unabated

Over 80 patients are waiting for a bed today in hospitals serving County Tipperary.

University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded in the country with 51 people on trolleys in the Emergency Department and in overflow areas of wards. While there are 31 people waiting at South Tipp General in Clonmel.

Cork University Hospital has 50 people in need of a bed.

In all the INMO are reporting that there are 494 patients waiting for a bed at hospitals across the country.
