The expansion of a Tipperary based home care services provider is a credit to the management and staff according to local TD Michael Lowry.

The official launch of Dovida – which has rebranded from Home Instead – took place in Thurles earlier.

The company is one of the leaders in the sector with Deputy Michael Lowry telling Tipp FM that they are also a well-respected employer.

“I love the concept here of the flexibility of the hours. There’s very few companies that can give the flexibility that Dovida are providing. When you see a mother that has a couple of kids she can give four hours during the day – she’s accommodated. Somebody else can do it at night time – they’re accommodated.”
