Minister Stephen Donnelly will turn the sod at the site of the new 96-Bed Block at University Hospital Limerick today.
This visit comes just weeks after the Deloitte UL Hospitals Group Patient Flow Report stated that an additional 302 inpatient beds and 63 day beds would be required by 2036.
The Minister is due to facilitate a Q&A as well as deliver a speech, alongside CEO Professor Colette Cowan.
