The number of patients without a bed at University Hospital Limerick this week remains stubbornly high.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation the facility which serves North Tipp, Limerick and Clare has had 507 people on trolleys since Monday.

Today there are no beds available for 102 people who have been admitted to the hospital.
They are among 371 across the country which means frontline staff at UHL are caring for more than 27% of the national total.
Meanwhile the numbers without a bed at TUH in Clonmel have fallen steadily since Monday – down from 15 at the start of the week to 1 today.
