There’s been a reduction of 23 in the number of patients left without a bed at University Hospital Limerick since yesterday.
However according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation the hospital serving North Tipp is still by far the most overcrowded in the country with 93 people being cared for on trolleys today.

This compared with 45 at CUH in Cork and 38 in Letterkenny.
Nationally there are 443 people without a bed – down from 468 on Monday.
7 of these are at TUH in Clonmel.
